HPN Success Story: Meet Norah— From EN to NUM
I wanted to share with you information about what is possible for you when you invest in coaching for your personal and professional growth.
Norah is a fabulous nurse. I have worked with on a number of occasions, to help her grow and develop within her career and damn has she done that!
Norah began her career as an Enrolled Nurse, where I actually worked with her as an educator and then a manager.
Norah is a high performer, committed to delivering the best care and had a hunger for learning.
Norah studied for her RN’s and then with years of EN experience started to climb the ladder.
She gained experience as a team leader in a busy public hospital medical unit. From here Norah reached out as she wanted to apply for a Senior nursing position.
So we got to work. I took Norah through my CCAP program. We worked our high performance nursing magic to position her as a high value candidate.
Of course, Norah was selected – because she is awesome!
From here, Norah couldn’t believe it. She even came to me and gave me some flowers and a card expressing her gratitude. Very cute!
Within about 6-8 months of being promoted, she was personally headhunted within the organisaiton for yet another promotion. This time to Clinical Nurse Consultant/NUM of a busy COVID-19 response acute ward.
We got to work and made it happen. I personally provided Norah transition support. This is to ensure she was well equipped to manage her new responsibilities. I covered all of this in my 12 Week Clinical Leadership Mastermind Training.
Norah is an amazing example of what’s possible when you trust yourself enough to go after what it is you TRULY want in life.
All in Norah has been able to climb two pay grades and increase her income by 30-40K AUD. BOOM!
After all, why stay where you are if you know you are destined for more!
So, how would it feel for you to have absolute clarity about where you were going in your career and most importantly how to get there with confidence?
If you are at all curious about it could be possible for you (it totally is – if you allow it) I would love to chat.
