HPN Success Story: Meet Kirsty

Today, I wanted to share with you what's in it for you when you invest in coaching for your personal and professional growth.

Kirsty is an RN working in Victoria. She came to me with a lot of self-doubt in her abilities to land her dream role working in the ICU.

Kirsty had a few years of solid nursing experience under her belt. 1 year as a grad and then almost a year’s experience working in a smaller public ED.

When we started coaching, Kirsty was full of doubt. She was not sure that her dream was possible. Despite her openness to moving across the country for the right role, there were limited job openings available.

Then we started working together to work through her self-limiting beliefs. I equipped her with tools to better manage her mind and her self-confidence. Through this work, Kirsty was able to move into a growth mindset and start getting clarity about what she wanted within her career.

We strategized a plan using my “Resus Your Career Algorithm” and we went to work on CREATING her dream role.

Using my signature system and process, Kirsty started to get results fast. We worked on designing a resume that will truly sell her skillset unlike before. The result? She was getting traction with high-level, tertiary referral hospitals that "weren't hiring".

Fast forward to a few weeks of coaching, Kirsty began to land interviews for many ICU transition programs in some states and territories.

She positioned herself in a unique and creative way to her future employers. She worked the system and created her position. The organisations simply couldn’t resist her application.

Kirsty had gone from being in ED, unhappy with her status and thinking her dream would never happen, to landing multiple ICU nurse interviews! Boom!

We prepped Kristy for the interview. We made sure that she was as prepared as possible to land this next opportunity. Of course, she received many offers and had to then choose which one she wanted to take!

To make it even better, Kirsty had made such an impression through her initial call. The newly resuscitated CV and CL used for the interview was super simple. It was more of a formality – to tick a box!

Amazing right? What a fab position to be in!

Kirsty got clear on which one aligned with her vision for her personal and professional life and she made the decision.

Kirsty is about to begin her dream ICU TTPP! She is so excited about where her career can take her.

So, how would you feel to have absolute clarity on where you are going in your career? And most importantly, how to get there with confidence?

Bloody good right? I'm super stoked for Kirsty and I know she has an amazing career ahead of her!

If you are at all curious about how it's possible for you (it totally is – if you allow it) I would love to chat with you.
